Description

The working principle of the air flotation machine is mainly based on the air flotation technology. First, the air is dissolved in water under a certain pressure through the dissolved – air system to form dissolved – air water. When the dissolved – air water enters the air flotation tank and is depressurized and released, the air dissolved in the water rapidly precipitates in the form of tiny bubbles. These tiny bubbles usually have a diameter of several tens of microns and possess a large specific surface area and adsorption capacity. They collide with and adhere to pollutants such as suspended particles, colloidal substances, or oil droplets in the water, forming gas – solid or gas – liquid combinations, that is, air – flotation bodies.

Since the specific gravity of the air – flotation bodies is less than that of water, under the action of buoyancy, they quickly float to the water surface, forming a scum layer. The scum is removed by a scum scraper, thus achieving the separation and removal of pollutants in the water.
