Description
The working principle of the industrial sludge belt filter press is based on the synergistic effect of gravity filtration and pressure filtration. First, the industrial sludge is evenly distributed on a continuously running filter belt by the feeding device. As the filter belt moves slowly, the sludge begins to be initially dehydrated under the action of gravity, and most of the free water is filtered out at this stage. Then, the filter belt carrying the initially dehydrated sludge enters the pressing area composed of two upper and lower filter belts.
In the pressing area, a series of rollers set according to a specific pressure gradient apply gradually increasing pressure to the filter belt and the sludge in the middle. This pressure further squeezes out the water in the sludge and discharges it through the mesh of the filter belt, thereby achieving deep dehydration of the sludge. After multiple pressing processes, a mud cake with a low moisture content and a certain strength is finally obtained, completing the whole process of solid-liquid separation.
